Donna’s career experiences prior to setting up TenStep Southwest Los Angeles are largely in Information Technology, starting as a Programmer/Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technical Lead then going on to Senior Project Manager/Vice President of a Southern California Savings and Loan. Donna has led small to large projects in the Banking, Finance, Insurance, Automotive and Mortgage industries and has delivered successful business applications for banks and mortgage companies, dealer-facing web applications for automotive companies, implemented business rules engines and managed customer-facing websites. She is skilled at building successful teams that are able to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. She has twenty years experience in Information Technology with over ten of those as the project manager and has a PMP certification. Her hands-on experience in managing complex projects and her organizational and coaching skills will be of great benefit to the TenStep office. Donna will be the primary instructor and consultant for the TenStep Southwest Los Angeles office. Her other focus is on delivery of services and ensuring the clients are happy with their association with TenStep. During her off hours, Donna likes to play golf and go sailing with her husband, Mario. Her time is also spent with her four daughters and grandchildren. |
Mario has been involved in process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma and Total Quality Management through much of his career in manufacturing companies in the last twenty years. He also has an MBA and is very knowledgeable about clients’ concerns and needs. As the Engagement Manager, Mario’s focus is to take the lead on delivering results for our clients and to play the pivotal role in helping clients address their critical business challenges. This is done by combining business knowledge, project management capabilities and a focus on people. As TenStep Southwest Los Angeles is a growing, entrepreneurial organization, Mario will also be involved in creating new approaches for the firm. Mario will help to invent, apply and refine the company’s approaches to business issues. He will also play an active role in firm initiatives such as recruiting, evaluation and training. Mario loves being with his family and playing golf – on the course or a game console. |

As the Operations Manager, Vandana’s (Mini) focus is to plan, direct or coordinate the operations of the office. Her duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations and planning the use of materials and human resources. Mini’s people and organizational skills are great assets in her role as Operations Manager. She is skilled at giving full attention to what people are saying and taking the time to understand each person’s point of view. She also keeps a close eye on the balance sheet by considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and makes recommendations on the selection of appropriate actions. Mini’s knowledge and education in the business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource modeling and leadership techniques are the keys to her success as the Operations Manager. Mini spends much of her off hours with her young daughter Anika and her husband, Nitin. They go to Anika’s soccer games as a family and really enjoy being together.

Nitin has been involved in process improvement methodologies and product delivery management areas of Information Technology for at least five years. He has the work experience and the education that has helped him to understand and be knowledgeable about clients’ concerns and needs. As the Marketing Manager, Nitin’s focus is on the marketing techniques and management of the office’s marketing budget and activities. This includes the advertising, distribution channels and selling of company products and services. He is also concerned with anticipating client needs so will also focus time to market research to be proactive about market changes. Nitin’s commitment and expertise will drive the marketing vision for TenStep Southwest Los Angeles. He will strengthen and expand brand awareness and develop new marketing channels to help the office succeed. As the guardian of the company’s brand values, he will develop, implement and evaluate the annual strategic plan and oversee marketing campaigns. Nitin enjoys being with his family on his off hours. He also loves to explore the information superhighway and is always looking for new ideas that he can implement through his marketing campaigns. |
