TenStep V9.0 is now available

We are proud to announce our yearly update to the TenStep Project Management Process. The big news is that we have created a second view of our methodology in the PMBOK® Guide process group model. We still have our superb "ten step" model, but now you can also click on a link to see our same content arranged in process group view (initiate, plan, execute, monitor/control, close). In the past we have always displayed a cross-reference table showing how our processes supported all of the processes in the PMBOK Guide. Simply click the "Process View" link on the left to switch back and forth between the views. (The actual content of the new process view is available for licensed users.)

In addition, we made the following enhancements.

  • Added content that reinforces the TenStep philosophy that the project management methodology must be value-add.

  • New content was added to building a budget and managing a budget.

  • The budget and schedule content has been separated more to allow more individual focus on the budget sections.

  • Section 0.0 Initiation was revised to align more with the PMBOK Guide Initiation.

  • Added more elaborate process models using concepts in ProcessStep.

  • … much more.
